Cattle call auditions for the Erie Playhouse production of Come From Away will be held on June 14 and 15 at 6:30 pm at the Erie Playhouse Rehearsal Hall at 1158 East 12th Street.

COME FROM AWAY is based on the true story of the time when the isolated community of Gander, Newfoundland, played host to the world. What started as an average day in a small town turned into an international sleepover, when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from around the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip on September 11, 2001.
Undaunted by culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander cheered the stranded travelers with music, an open bar and the recognition that we’re all part of a global family.
Actors are asked to arrive and to sign in within the first hour of the audition start time. All roles are available. The Erie Playhouse practices Color Conscious casting. All ethnicities and newcomers are especially welcomed. Crew and other volunteers are also needed for this event. All roles, unless otherwise announced, are open. The Erie Playhouse encourages anyone who is interested to audition and is always eager to welcome new faces and fresh talent to its stage. No previous stage experience is required. All roles are non-equity (non union) and are unpaid. Perusal scripts are available in the box office for 24 hrs. with a refundable $10 deposit. Questions? Please contact [email protected].
