Cast of characters:
NOTE Ages for characters are 30 - 70 (not reflective of ages of actors)
TINA YATES: Originally from Walbrook, just outside
Baltimore. A successful nurse because she’s warm,
practical and cares about people, but doesn’t tend to pause
and consider whether she ought to be less frank; a blurter.
Enjoys her role as the local Yankee.
LORRAINE JENSEN: Lived here all her life. Has nine
children, at last count. Gently sarcastic and always good
humored.
BEA LITTLETON: The wife of Pastor
Hiram Littleton and happy to let you know it. He might be
the pastor, but it’s her church.
JANET MURCHISON: A New Jersey native who
recently opened her own private investigation agency.
Quick with a wisecrack and even quicker with ideas. Bea
trusts her even though she dislikes doing so.
LUCILLE ORTON: The widow of the late Reverend
Joseph Orton of First Salvation Church. Bea’s blood rival.
In appearance, puritanical and scary. In tone, sweetly
menacing. Carrie Nation by way of Sue Ann Nivens.

EXTRAS:
4 stagehands that will do all the scene changes and also model the Christmas sweaters
And one will be Betty Louis the designer of the sweaters
*Janice Ferguson- piano player. She will play the piano
*Janice’s choir- minimum of 3 girls but could be more kids ( will also model the sweaters)
* Zither sisters ( Arlene and Raylene Dunbar) will play the zither or autoharp- can also be stage hands and model the sweaters
*Buddy Deltacourt- plays the drum set( doesn’t have to be great) should be a “beginner” drummer - can also model the sweaters and be a stagehand
