Homewood Theatre will hold open auditions for the play "But Why Bump Off Barnaby" by Rick Abbot at 7 pm - 10 pm on Sunday, July 14th at the theatre. The play will be directed by Kyle Bass and performances will run October 18 thru November 3rd.This murder mystery comedy tells the story of a murder at a family gathering where the victim had a motive to murder everybody else... but no one had a reason to want him dead! While dying, he scrawled the letters "b-a-r,"... but that turns out to implicate everyone! It's a wild ride where people vanish, poison is found in the sherry, and the police take forever to arrive. Meanwhile, there's a secret treasure to be found, a mystifying limerick to decode, and all sorts of doom to be avoided before the mystery is solved.

Auditions consist of cold readings from the script. A resume’ and photo would be helpful but are not required. Bring your personal schedule to identify conflicts with rehearsal and performance schedule.
