Auditions

We’re auditioning experienced, ensemble-first performers for Burnt Sugar’s live comedy teams. Our ethos is that our performances are for the audience, and we are here to support the team. We work hard and play hard, take our craft seriously and never take ourselves seriously.

We run a welcoming room with a high bar. We give direct notes and will push you, expect professionalism, and care about teamwork, object work, emotional truth, and players who are skilled, teachable, and generous on stage. Some performers will be added directly to teams, others on a trial basis — because we’re building this thoughtfully, not just collecting personalities.
