Audition Announcement
The Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts Presents
Come From Away
The Lebowsky Center for Performing Arts is pleased to announce auditions for its upcoming production of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Come From Away.
This internationally acclaimed musical has captivated audiences across Broadway, London’s West End, and multiple national tours with its powerful true story, unforgettable score, and celebration of humanity in the face of tragedy. Our production will hold six performances from September 11–20, 2026, opening on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.
About the Show
Come From Away tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 airline passengers stranded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, in the wake of the September 11 attacks. As fear and uncertainty filled the world, the people of Gander welcomed complete strangers into their homes and community with extraordinary kindness and compassion. Filled with heart, humor, and a soaring folk-inspired score, Come From Away is an uplifting and deeply moving theatrical experience about resilience, generosity, and human connection.
