The Breakthrough Theatre Company will hold auditions for our annual musical revue, "Best of Broadway", on the following dates and times:Saturday, January 7, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Sunday, January 8, 6-8 p.m.
*no appointments, just show up on either day between the hours listed
This year's Best of Broadway will feature music from shows that opened on Broadway from 1965-1974. They include: Seesaw, Lorelei, Pippin, A Little Night Music, Grease, Follies, Jesus Christ Superstar, Company, Applause, Promises Promises, Zorba, George M, Dear World, 1776, Hair, The Happy Time, Cabaret, Man of La Mancha, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, Mame, Sweet Charity, Fiddler on the Roof, The Roar of the Greasepaint the Smell of the Crowd, and Flora the Red Menace.
Best of Broadway is a two act production (developed by Wade Hair) with solos, small groups, and large groups, including full out choreographed songs.

To audition:
If you are a Breakthrough regular, prepare and sing 16-32 bars of ONE song from any of the shows listed above. You may also send a video audition to [email protected].
If you are new to the Breakthrough, prepare 16-32 bars of TWO songs from any of the shows above. I am not accepting video auditions from this group. I need to meet you in person. Please bring a headshot or recent face picture.
Please bring your music on your phone or we can pull up a Youtube video. We will not have a piano accompanist.
All roles are unpaid, but we collect cash and Venmo tips at each performance that is split amongst the actors.
Show Dates and Times:
February 17-20, 24-27, and March 3-6
Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

Tuesday-Thursday, January 17-19, 7-10 p.m.
Sunday, January 22, 6-8 p.m.
Tuesday-Thursday, January 24-26, 7-10 p.m.
Sunday, January 29, 6-8 p.m.
Tuesday-Thursday, January 31-February 2, 7-10 p.m.
Sunday, January 5, 6-8 p.m.
Monday-Thursday, February 6-9, 7-10 p.m.
Monday-Thursday, February 13-16, 7 p.m.-??? (tech week)
