Audition registration is open now for 3rd Act's production of "Alcoholidays", written by Melanie Wilderman and Ted Satterfield, and directed by Rodney Brazil. AUDITIONS: Saturday September 20, 2025
Callbacks, if necessary, will be on a day and time tbd
Rehearsals: October 27 - December 4, 2025
(No rehearsals October 30 and November 27-28)
Performances: December 5, 6, 12, 13, 14 (matinee), 19, 20, and 21 (matinee)
This production will take place in person on the 3rd Act Theatre Stage in The Shoppes at Northpark.

SYNOPSIS
A hilarious (and sometimes raunchy) comedy, "Alcoholidays" follow Meg and Jacob as they stumble, cocktails in hand, through a series of holiday parties and every social landmine the "most wonderful time of the year" can throw at them.
CAST (12-13)
JACOB: 30-40s, masculine-presenting, unemployed journalist, aspiring novelist, a little awkward, but a witty sense of humor
MEG: 30-40s, feminine-presenting, recently tenured English professor, intellectual, but a sassy drunk
(10 - 11 actors will play the other 28 characters of various races, ages, and gender identities. Please go to our audition page for more information about these characters.)
Character ADVISORY: All characters will interact with adult themes such as alcohol use, excessive drinking of alcohol, drunkenness, sex, racism, dysfunctional family dynamics, LGBTQIA+, and adult language.
AUDITION INFORMATION
Auditioners will read from provided sides from the script. Video auditions will be accepted from those who are unable to attend in person.
