Clear Creek Community Theatre announces auditions for our upcoming production of A Chorus Line, co-directed by Stephanie Hendrickson and Kathleen Richardson.
This production is presented in partnership with San Jacinto College South Theatre & Film and sponsored by the South Fine Arts department.
AUDITION DATES
Saturday, July 18, 1:00–4:00pm
Sunday, July 19, 6:00–9:30pm
LOCATION
San Jacinto College South Campus
Dance Studio, Building 15 — Fine Arts Building
13735 Beamer Rd., Houston, TX 77089
The directors ask that auditioners let them know in advance which audition day they plan to attend, if possible. This helps the team plan for attendance and allows them to send out some of the audition sides a few days before auditions.
You may do this by filling out the audition signup form:

WHAT TO EXPECT
Auditions will include a vocal audition, a dance audition, and readings from the script.
Please prepare a musical theatre song in the style of the show and bring recorded music on your device, or be prepared to sing a cappella. No accompanist will be available.
Please dress for movement and bring appropriate dance footwear. All auditioners will participate in the dance portion.
Please also bring a list of known conflicts during the rehearsal period, or include them on the Cast98 audition form.
A headshot and resume are appreciated, but not required.
CALLBACKS
Possible callbacks will be held Monday, July 20, 6:00–9:00pm, at a different location to be announced.
PRODUCTION INFO
Performances are September 18–20 and September 25–27 at San Jacinto College South Campus, Proscenium Theatre.
Rehearsals begin Sunday, July 26 and will generally be Monday–Thursday evenings, with several Saturday afternoons. A complete rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions.
PLEASE NOTE
Marking yourself as “Interested” or “Going” on this Facebook event does not notify the directors that you plan to audition. To help the team plan ahead and send audition sides in advance, please either complete the audition signup form or email one of the directors to let them know which audition day you plan to attend.
