Open Audition Notice - Snow White Pantomime
6th and 13th October - 11am - 2pm both days at Salón Varietés Theatre, Fuengirola.
Casting for the following roles:
SNOW WHITE: (SINGING ROLE) A Princess. Stepdaughter of Queen Devellinka. Her 18th birthday is during the panto- mime. An honest and likeable girl. Female late teen to 20's
QUEEN DEVELLINKA: (SINGING ROLE) The evil Queen. Nasty to everyone. Adult Female
MAGIC MIRROINA VON TRAPPED: A soul trapped inside the magic mirror. Bored and sarcastic. Comic timing essential. Male or Female Adult
MUDDLES: (SINGING ROLE) The Jester. A comedian and someone who can reel in the audience. Adult Male
PRINCE ESMOND: (SINGING ROLE) Snow White's love interest. Adult Male 20's - 30s
WHOOPI DA COOKIE: (SINGING ROLE) Dame. The cook for the castle. Tries to pretend she is French but obviously isn't. Adult male
PROFESSOR HEINZ VIFTYSEBSON: The cranky professor. Speaks in broken English with a mid-European accent. Adult Male
LATE LAURA: Happy and bouncy. Comic timing essential. Adult Female
HARRY THE HUNTSMAN: The Queen's foolish henchman, not very bright.. Adult Male.
DWARVES: Male or female teens and adults
ENSEMBLE: How could we possibly do this show without a strong chorus? Sing, dance, smile and be merry! The chorus is the foundation of any pantomime!
Male and female chorus and dancers (teenagers upwards)
2 x Panto babes - male or female children aged 8+
If auditioning for a singing role, please come with a short song to perform.
If auditioning for a dancing role, please come with a short prepared dance routine to perform.
Production Dates: 12 shows (including matinees) taking place over 14th 15th Dec, 19th - 23rd Dec 2024 and 2nd - 6th Jan 2025
Rehearsals will be from mid October and will be weekday evenings and daytime week- ends.
You must be available for ALL rehearsals and performances throughout this whole period if offered a place in the Production.
