Auditions are happening at the Bronner Performing Arts Center for our next production! Come and audition for our new musical, A Christmas Journal!
The musical, set in New Garmisch, Wisconsin, deals with an elderly German-immigrant clockmaker, who after the loss of his wife to cancer, cannot face another Christmas without her. He however, is the only man who can start the Annual Christmas Clocktower Glockenspiel for the massive, waiting crowd on the square of the town. Staying at home, he discovers his wife’s Christmas Journal containing the best Christmas memories they had shared together through the years. His wife reappears as a ghost, and nudges him to read and relive all of those beautiful memories, hoping it will offer him some peace. Will he do it before the strike of twelve, when he must start the clock? It’s a fun, moving, “It’s a Wonderful Life” type of Christmas musical that shares the importance of grieving, healing, and re-acquiring the Christmas spirit.
Auditions are happening September 1st and 2nd in the BPAC theater from 6PM-8PM. (Only attend one audition date and plan to be on time)
Children from 3rd grade and up are welcome to audition.
