AUDITION INFORMATION

2024-2025 Season

No previous choral experience is required. After registration, auditioning singers will receive information about our audition expectations. You'll know exactly what to expect!

New and returning singers audition each season

Membership into this treble choir program is contingent upon one audition and,

One teacher recommendation (not required for First Impressions Choir). Recommendation form link is provided upon the completion of this application.

Dr. Steven Brundage, Laura Brundage, Jon Reid, and Joanie Pegram will be present during auditions.

Rehearsals are held weekly at First Presbyterian Church on Thursday evenings from August 29 to April 10.

First Impressions (K5-1st) 5:00-6:00 PM

Apprentice Choir (2nd-4th) 5:00-6:00 PM

Concert Choir (2nd-4th) 6:15-7:30 PM

Apprentice Choir (2nd-4th) 6:15-7:30 PM

The GYC Winter concert is Saturday, December 7 at 3:00 PM and the GYC Spring concert is Saturday, April 12 at 3:00 PM at Gunter Theatre.

Additional performances (national anthem, Nutcracker, side-by-side concert) are available to select age-groups.

Tuition is $520 for K5-4th grades and $550 for 5th-12th grades, payable in a single discounted-payment or in monthly installments. Sibling discounts are available and tuition-assistance upon request.
