The church’s annual BIG auction fundraiser has been modified because of continued COVID concerns. It will continue to take place on Saturday, Nov. 6 but with a few changes.A portion of the auction proceeds will benefits SLO-VETS2WORK.
FREE live easy listening & jazz music with various local musicians will start at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary. There will also be seating available outside with the concert broadcasted to a TV on the Labyrinth. An in-person silent auction will begin at 2 p.m. and run the duration of the concert. At the conclusion of the concert, there will be an in-person LIVE auction that will be broadcast via Zoom to allow for people to bid from home.
Though we won’t be eating together in person, we will have a meal. Tickets for the meal are on sale now and will feed four people. It will include a meat lasagna (gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian & vegan options are available, please note that on your ticket), a loaf of Brian’s Bread sourdough, a salad, and dessert. The cost for the entire meal for four is $50 if ordered by Nov. 1. The cost after Nov. 1 is $60. A very limited number of meals will be available to purchase the day of.
We will have a limited number of items available in an online silent auction that will begin a few days before the event and end in advance of the concert starting. Check back here for more information.
SCHEDULE
1:45pm: Arrive to church sanctuary (inside & outside seating available) MASKS are required inside
2:00pm: FREE live music & silent auction begins (the concert can be viewed via live stream HERE)
2:00pm: Music by Dexter COVID Consort
2:30pm: The Quarintet (jazz)
3:00pm: Reeds in the Wind (clarinet ensemble)
Approximately 3:20pm: Live Auction (in the church sanctuary & on Zoom–register for the Zoom event HERE. We will have the Zoom portion monitored and an in-person volunteer bidding for you)
3:30-5:00pm: Pick up Lasagna Meals for 4, ready for take and bake. The meals will NOT BE HOT meals. Tickets are $50 if purchased by Nov. 1 ($60 after). Purchase tickets by contacting the church office at [email protected] or 805-466-2566.
