The Auckland Street Food Awards are back for 2026! We're on the hunt for the very best in Auckland's street food scene – as voted by you.
Here's how it works: two vendors go head-to-head, and you vote for your favourite. The winner progresses to the next round, with voting continuing until we're left with our top 15 finalists.
Then comes the fun part!
On 5 September, our 15 finalists will set up at Shed 10 and trade across two exciting sessions. Attendees will vote for their favourite vendor via a QR code, with results displayed live throughout the day. The overall winner will be announced at 8pm.
Session 1 is our family-friendly session, running from 11am to 3pm, with plenty of entertainment to keep the kids happy.
Session 2 runs from 5pm to 9pm and is designed for an adult audience, featuring a live DJ, great food, and the highly anticipated winner announcement.
Voting kicks off on our social media channels in late July, so stay tuned and make sure you cast your vote for your favourite street eats!
