After a fantastic turnout and great feedback from our last Muriwai walk, we’re doing it again.Join us for a White Swiss Shepherd play date/walk tomorrow, Sunday, 20th October, at Muriwai (horse park end). We’ll be kicking off at 8:30 AM, and we’d love to see as many of our beautiful pups together as possible!
What to Expect: 🐾 A scenic 4km walk through forest, lakes, and a fire trail, which should take around 75-90 minutes.
When You Arrive: 🚶♂️ Walk through the metal gate and meet us by the picnic table on the left. We’ll gather there before setting off.
🕥 We’ll start the walk at 8:45 AM sharp, so try to be on time.
A Few Notes: 🚻 Toilets are available near the parking area, there won’t be any along the trail.
👟 It can get muddy if it’s rained in the last few days, so make sure to wear suitable footwear (runners/cross trainers).
⬆️ The track is mostly flat with one 25m steep incline, suitable for most ages and fitness levels.
🐕 As this is an off-lead walk, dogs should have moderate recall in case we encounter horses and riders (which is likely).
🦴 Feel free to bring other friendly, medium to large dogs if you have them.
