Auburn Community Orchestra Presents Holiday Melodies

The Auburn Community Orchestra (ACO) will be performing its Holiday Melodies concert, presented by the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center (JDCAC) on Thursday, December 3rd, at 7 p.m. This performance will be held at Auburn United Methodist Church. There is no charge for the concert and seating is available on a first come first serve basis.
ACO has grown both in numbers and musically over the past two years. These talented musicians are excited to present an evening of orchestra favorites and holiday themed classics.
The ACO is led by Music Director and Conductor Dr. Rusty Logan, who brings 33 years of experience as a band director, including 24 years at Auburn High School. A highly sought-after adjudicator, clinician and guest conductor, Dr. Logan brings a wealth of expertise to the podium. Under his direction, the ACO will deliver an exciting and enjoyable program for both the community and visitors at GPAC.
ACO is also excited to welcome Isabella Doyle as a vocalist for this concert. Isabella is a junior at Auburn University, and is majoring in both Musical Theater and Music Composition/Technology. She was a cast member in AU Theatre Department’s recent play Men On Boats and performs with the Department of Music’s Blues and Roots Ensemble. Her talents will bring an extra spark of holiday magic and make this concert something truly special for guests this holiday season.
