Feel Good Fusion is back—and this time it's the send-off party for our six month hiatus!
If you haven’t participated in the past, Feel Good Fusion is a chance to express your appreciation for your fellow dancers 💚 We’ll provide brown paper bags and cards—just write your name on a bag and leave it on the table so your fellow dancers can place cards with nice messages inside. Think grade-school valentine vibes :) We know people can feel shy about complimenting fellow dancers, so sign your name or stay anonymous as you see fit. And compliments don’t have to be limited to dancing—feel free to compliment all sorts of things, like someone’s positive impact as a community member. If there’s someone you always hope to see at a social, this is your chance to tell them!
And...that's right, ATX Fusion is taking a six month break. The past year, we've been down to two organizers from our usual three, and Dylan & Colby have been keeping this going for almost four years now. We're going to take some time to regroup and decide how to move forward. During this time, feel free to send us ideas, and let us know if you'd like to consistently help in the future, and if you have a notion, with which tasks. We're open to more collaboration and assistance 🙏
In honor of this send-off, we're also giving the music a throwbacks theme! This will be a nostalgia hit for seasoned Fusion dancers and a chance for newer dancers to hear the old-school sounds of the Fusion scene. There will be no class! Instead, we'll have four hours of music (and four DJs!) from 7-11pm 🎶

**PRICING**
Sliding scale: $10-25. We accept card, cash, or Venmo at the door.
We believe in making our events accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation, so our scale begins at $10. We also want to offer reasonable pricing options for those who can only join us for part of the night. However, we really encourage you to pay at least $15 if you are able, so that we can maintain the quality of the event 🙏

LOCATION:
We're at a new location! This will be our third event at Rhythm House Dance Studios, also known as Rhythm House ATX. The address is: 4622 S. Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX, 78745
It's just off the access road of 290 West, just past Westgate. There's a building in front of it, closer to the access road, that's part of the Lutheran Church next door. Follow the driveway to the house shaped building behind this part of the Lutheran Church. You should be able to see their business sign, and we'll post a photo of that sign soon.
PLEASE NOTE:
Please feel free to BYOB beverages and snacks, especially water, dancing is a physical activity after all!
Only soft-soled dance shoes, socks, or bare feet are allowed on the studio floor. Please do not wear street shoes, heels, or hard-heeled shoes on the studio floor, as they will damage it. Help us keep this beautiful venue in great shape!
If you're feeling under the weather or ill, please don't attend! Take care of yourself, and avoid bringing a contagion to a crowded space and dance partners you care about.

WHAT IS FUSION DANCING?
Fusion is an improvisational partner dance where there's a lead and a follow that isn't confined to or defined by one style. Fusion dancers tend to be familiar with the basics of more than one partner dance (Blues, Tango, West Coast Swing, Brazilian Zouk, Lindy Hop, etc.)
