World-renowned UK darkwave, industrial, and post-punk innovators ATTRITION have released their long-awaited new album, ‘The Black Maria’ (Two Gods Records, March 2024), to widespread critical acclaim. Formed in 1980 in Coventry, England, ATTRITION are about to embark on their AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND TOUR in October-November 2024, and are excited to appear in New Zealand’s South Island for the first time ever at Christchurch’s EMBANKMENT TAVERN, on Thursday 7 November.
ATTRITION are joined for tourdates across Australia and New Zealand by Canadian ritual-ambient/ethereal project SUBTERRANEA, and at the Embankment by Ōtautahi’s own industrial / powernoise / electronic artist ACCLIMATE, and improv avant-pop-noise deviants PLACENTA COOKBOOK.
