Our first party of 2026 with a huge selector - DJ, musician and broadcaster Mikey D.O.N makes his long-awaited return to Sheffield. With 40+ years in the scene, he is a pivotal musical figure in his home city, Manchester and the wider UK music scene. Mikey is without a doubt a legend and we are very excited to host him.
With countless festival slots such as Beatherder, Moovin' and Shambala under his belt, Mikey D.O.N is no stranger to touring and performing with some of the biggest artists in reggae, soul, hip hop and jazz including Mr Scruff, Damian Marley, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Roy Ayers, Naughty by Nature (even the The Black Eyed Peas) to name a few....
A musician and MC for the trio Krispy 3 (who received early play on MTV and Radio 1), Mikey D.O.N's unparalleled charisma as a broadcaster, communicator and wordsmith shine through on his Worldwide FM and NTS shows. His ‘Hip-Hop and Ragga Show’ on Unity Radio (Manchester) also ran for over 8 years (!)
His sets are expansive & deep-digging - moving through a huge record collection of funk, hip hop, acid house, reggae and more; always soulful and uplifitng, with heavy moments allowing for maximum dancefloor heat.
Nonna Fab and Joi L.F. (Apricot Ballroom) will warm the night up in good style, with Mucho Maas (Love to Dance) closing things up in a deep disco, jazz-funk and curveballs kinda way
