Learn & Chat: Gardening Into the Future – Climate Adaptation in Your Yard
Join the Bennett Valley Grange for an evening of community, gardening, and practical inspiration.
Start with our Harvest Swap from 5:00–6:00 PM in the parking lot. Bring extra fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, or seeds from your garden to share with neighbors—or simply stop by to see what's available. No contribution is required to participate, and everyone is welcome.
Then, from 6:00–7:30 PM, UC Master Gardener Leah Halper will present Gardening Into the Future: Climate Adaptation in Your Yard. This engaging talk will explore practical, science-based strategies for creating healthier, more resilient gardens through healthy soil, habitat creation, sustainable food production, and climate adaptation. The presentation will conclude with an interactive Q&A and discussion.
Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect with fellow gardeners, and enjoy an evening at the historic Bennett Valley Grange. We look forward to seeing you there!
