In this 5 part Attachment Parenting course we will explore the first stages of parenthood through the lens of conscious parenting and honoring the baby’s lived experience from spirit to taking physical form. Classes include:I. Conscious Conception and Baby Makes Three: Attracting a new soul into your family. Holding the intention of Light and Love for your little one, your partner and yourself.
II. Heart Leads the Way: Early pregnancy, development of the mother, baby and the emerging family. Employing 8 principles for a couple’s sustained connection during pregnancy and how it supports the developing infant.
III. Birth: Baby’s experience and parents’ experience, even when it’s not ideal. Repair to any ruptures to the “perfect” birth.
IV. Bonding & Attachment: Keeping connection, Growing Connection, Coming Home with Baby.
V. Early Parenting: Attachment Parenting and developing secure attachment with your baby for a healthy foundation.
Workshop will include guided meditations for relaxation and grounding to support your pregnancy and/or parenting.
The Instructor:
Elizabeth is a child development specialist, specializing in early childhood development and infant-parent mental health. She has over 30 years of experience supporting parents, early educators and children as they navigate the foundational years. Her primary focus is supportive care, resolution of early trauma and building healthy early attachment from conception through childhood. She brings to families her training and professional experience as a director of university and college child development lab schools; California endorsement as an Advanced Trans-disciplinary Infant, Family and Early Child Mental Health Practitioner; and decades of trainings and certifications with luminaries in the field of early development, mental health and personal growth. She has been a student of several mystery schools studying spiritual and energetic therapies to include hypnotherapeutic recall of life between lives, shamanic journeying, ancient Sufi healing practices and spiritual mysticism to connect with spiritual guides and divine protection, as well as use of therapeutic touch and Reiki healing. Elizabeth blends spiritual understanding with evidence-based parenting approaches to meet children’s and parents’ needs for connection, presence and loving attunement.
