Take your ATS®/FCBD® (American Tribal Style/ FatChanceBellyDance®) skills to the next level by focusing on the art of duet improvisation! This workshop is designed to explore the unique dynamics and connection required to dance seamlessly in a duet, while still maintaining the structure and principles of group improvisation.In this workshop, you will:
-Refine duet communication: Learn to connect with your partner through non-verbal cues, eye contact, and body language to lead and follow effortlessly.
-Explore duet-specific formations: Master techniques that make duets stand out, including mirroring, shadowing, and alternating lead transitions.
-Focus on timing and synchronization: Improve your ability to stay perfectly in sync with your partner while still following the rules of ATS®/FCBD® vocabulary.
-Develop musicality: Enhance your understanding of musical phrasing and learn how to build cohesive and dynamic duet performances.
-Express creativity within structure: Find ways to make your duet performances unique while staying true to the foundational movements and cues of ATS®/FCBD®.
