Since January 2020, Atlanta has seen an explosion of dope people in the tech space move to the metro area from all over the country + world. From startup founders to Big Tech employees to investors and everyone in-between, the collective talent bar has risen tremendously and created an amazing atmosphere. But because of the pandemic, we haven't had a chance to give everyone a proper welcome.

That changes now.

On Wednesday May 31, the Atlanta Welcoming Committee presented by Silicon Valley Bank, a Society of the Good event, by Goodie Nation reconvenes to welcome New ATLiens properly at The Gathering Spot. If you're in the innovation space and have moved to Atlanta since January 2020, then this experience is for you. Join us for this exclusive event, and engage with a group that celebrates life’s genuine moments while helping you get plugged into the city - both personally and professionally.

The Society of the Good is a group of change makers, innovators, and entrepreneurs who share a passion for making an impact as well as enjoying life. We work hard by day, but know how to mix it up at night. We always buy the first drink, but never throw the first punch. We know that philanthropy is always best without a name, but believe that good deeds should never go unnoticed - for even the smallest accomplishments deserve modest celebration.

Relationships matter. This is tech done right. One For All. All For One. Stay magnetic y'all.

For the last 10+ years, we've quietly welcomed visitors and recent transplants to Atlanta with conversations about the local innovation scene, neighborhoods, schools, etc...over food and drinks. We've hosted dope people like Jewel Burks-Solomon (Collab Capital), Felecia Hatcher (Black Hatcher), and Felicia Pride (Writer / Producer). This is some good ole' southern hospitality.
