Atlanta Shuffle Dance Class - BEGINNER CHOREO (FISHER)

This class is best for shufflers who are familiar with the basics and want to learn new moves incorporated into a fun, hybrid-style routine. I teach foundations in every beginner class so experience is not necessary-- newbs are always welcome! That said, you will get the most out of this class if you have some familiarity with the 4 basic moves of shuffling and shaping: running man, t-step, Charleston, Polly Pocket.

The vibes in our shuffle community are always fun, judgment-free, and non-competitive. We strive for progress, not perfection 🤍

PARKING: free lot parking :)

SHOES: Comfy flat-bottom sneakers are recommended. Please refer to the FAQs on my IG page for examples.

Please note: class ends at 9:45, not 10 pm.

About the instructor:

I've been shuffling since 2019. My style is hybrid (Melbourne and shapes) with a focus on freestyle over choreo.

If you’ve been meaning to learn, trying to figure it out on your own, or taking a break, come out and dance with us! My goal is to build a more robust shuffle community in Atlanta and that means dancing together :)

Updated class credit/refund policy (as of 5/24/24):

For your FIRST time missing a class, you will receive a credit good towards any future class within 6 months.

For any subsequent missed class, you will only receive a credit by giving me at least 48 hrs notice.

If you’d like to use your credit for an upcoming class, please let me know at least one week prior to the class you wish to attend. This is the only way to guarantee your spot. If you won’t know whether you can attend until closer to the date of a class, definitely still check with me. I may be able to fit you in, depending on the class.

If you miss a class using a missed class credit, you forfeit that credit.

From time to time, I guest teach at studios. These classes are owned by the hosting studio (not by me) so I’m not able to honor missed class credits or class pack credits for those classes. These classes will be denoted as such.

I’m not able to issue refunds for any reason.

By signing up for a class, you agree that you may be filmed or photographed during the class. The content may be used on my social media. If you do not want to be on camera, please let me know ahead of class and I will do my best to accommodate you :)
