Hello everyone! We are excited to announce that we will be going on a short animal rights tour very soon and we invite you to come with us!! We have been planning to have an animal rights tour for over a year and it seems like now things are lining up for us to make it happen! We will be covering traveling & lodging for a limited amount of people so sign up below as soon as you can! Activities: Actions will include vigils, save squares, vegan outreach, sanctuary visits and chalktivism to name a few! The tour is going to take place in both FL and GA and will officially start on Friday, October 15th, and end on Wednesday, October 20th. At the moment, we are 6 weeks away from the tour so plan accordingly.
Registration: To have a chance to have your travel and lodging covered register by October 1st. Everyone is welcomed to register and participate after October 1st but we can only guarantee to cover travel and lodging for a limited amount of people that are registered by October 1st.
Travel: We will be leaving Atlanta to head to St. Augustine on Friday, October 15th and we will spend the weekend in St. Augustine doing actions with local activists. On Monday, October 19th we will head to Gainesville, FL and spend some time at a local sanctuary and arrive back in Atlanta early that evening. On Tuesday, October 19th and Wednesday, October 20th, we will have actions in Atlanta with our local activist community. Although the tour officially ends on Wednesday, October 20th people are welcome to stick around for GARP’s sanctuary event on Saturday, October 23rd.
Safety & Precautions: COVID 19 cases are on the rise and we recommend you are mindful about whether or not you feel comfortable attending as we will be traveling and lodging with a group of people out of state. We plan to take precautions but there are no guarantees against COVID 19. We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable so please give that some thought!
We are very excited about this tour and would love to have you join us! However, if you aren’t able to join us but would like to help us you can support our fundraising efforts which will help a great deal to cover the costs for this tour. We can’t wait to see all of you on the tour and stand alongside you all to advocate for animal liberation! We will be giving more updates very soon and as the dates get closer. Talk to you soon!
