Atascadero Residents can get rid of extra household waste for FREE during this week-long event!!Waste Management is hosting a community clean-up week to give Waste Management customers in Atascadero an opportunity to easily dispose of household waste, scrap metal, and green waste.
This FREE opportunity is open to Atascadero Waste Management customers only and a Voucher* is required.
WASTE DROP OFF:
Oct. 19 - Oct. 26 | 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Chicago Grade Landfill
2290 Homestead Rd.
Templeton, CA 93465
*Residents can request a voucher for the event by contacting Waste Management at 805-466-3636 or by visiting the local office at 8740 Pueblo Ave. Ste. B, Atascadero, CA 93422.
ACCEPTED ITEMS:
• Household waste, including sofas, rugs, washers/dryers, small household appliances, televisions, stereos & computers
• Greenwaste, including tree trunks and large branches (no more than 6" diameter or 4' in length)
• Scrap metal (must be separated)
• Hazardous Waste will ONLY BE ACCEPTED on Saturdays between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
NON-ACCEPTABEL ITEMS:
• Commercial debris from commercial construction
• Commercial landscape debris
ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR FREE:
• Appliances with freon
• Tires
