At the Crossroads - The Light Carried Forward
Creating a Protective Talisman with Hekate
Throughout the ancient world, talismans were more than objects of protection. They were tangible reminders of devotion, sacred relationship, and the commitments carried by the practitioner. Rather than approaching talismans as tools of power alone, we'll explore their historical roots and create one that reflects our own ongoing relationship with Hekate.
Together we'll examine the history of protective talismans, reflect on what Hekate has revealed throughout this journey, and create a personal talisman to accompany us in our daily devotional practice. Through prayer, discussion, journaling, and ritual, we'll consecrate our work and consider what it truly means to carry the light of Hekate beyond the circle.
This gathering also marks the completion of the first chapter of At the Crossroads. Beginning in September, we'll step into a brand-new six-month journey, Ancient Voices, where we'll explore the Greek Magical Papyri through history, devotion, prayer, and thoughtful study—not as a collection of spells, but as the preserved voices of practitioners who walked these crossroads long before us.
Whether this is your first evening with us or your tenth, you are warmly welcome. Registration is ongoing, and each workshop is designed to stand on its own while contributing to a deeper path of devotional practice.
