At the Crossroads
Hekate Phosphoros — The Light-Bringer
There comes a point on every path where we realize that knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing.
We can gather information. Read books. Study symbols. Memorize correspondences. Yet there are moments when something deeper begins to unfold, and what we are seeking is no longer information, but illumination.
This month at *At the Crossroads*, we enter the current of *Hekate Phosphoros* — She Who Brings the Light.
Not the light that removes all uncertainty.
Not the light that reveals every answer.
But the light that helps us see a little more clearly than we could before.
After standing at the threshold, walking the road, tending the flame, and receiving the key, we now begin exploring what happens when the mysteries themselves begin to illuminate.
This gathering marks the beginning of our exploration of the Greek Magical Papyri (PGM)* and the relationship between devotion, prayer, symbol, and magical practice in the ancient world.
Together, we will explore how ancient practitioners approached relationship with spirit, why devotion and magic were often inseparable, and what it means to cultivate meaningful practice before seeking magical results.
This gathering will include:
✨ Devotional and mystery teaching
✨ Introduction to the Greek Magical Papyri
✨ Discussion of prayer, devotion, and magical relationship
✨ Journal work and sacred reflection
✨ Creation and consecration of a devotional talisman dedicated to Hekate Phosphoros
*At the Crossroads* is a monthly devotional and mystery study circle rooted in relationship with Hekate, threshold work, symbolism, sovereignty, shadow, and sacred becoming.
No previous experience with Hekate or the PGM is required. Curiosity, openness, and a willingness to engage the work thoughtfully are all that is needed.
