At Play with The Radiance Sutras

Come join us for an evening of chanting, dancing, and playful improvisation with The Radiance Sutras, a modern version of a classic tantra text describing 112 doorways into meditation, including breathing, mantras, dancing, lovemaking, communing with nature, and living in awe and wonder.

In the tantra yoga tradition, meditation is a path of love, simple and natural, a way of noticing and delighting in the dance of energies as they manifest to our senses. We are all made out of the pulsating Life Force, called pranashakti, and therefore we all have access to life’s powers of renewal and revitalization. You will get a chance to explore which of these many pathways are calling you now.

About the Facilitators:

Lorin Roche, PhD

Lorin began meditating with the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra in 1968, at age 18, while a freshman at the University of California at Irvine. He soon became involved in scientific research on the physiological effects of meditation and began training as a teacher.

Lorin is the author of The Radiance Sutras, and with his partner Camille Maurine, Meditation Secrets for Women, published by Harper in 2001.

Camille Maurine

Camille is a dancer and explorer on the path of embodiment. In the early 1970’s she created an integration of modern dance, yoga, and meditation that she has been sharing worldwide ever since.

Camille and Lorin have been together, delighting in this path of tantra for over 40 years now.
