Astronomy on Tap - C'ville #37

Astronomy on Tap - Charlottesville returns on Monday, July 6th from 7-9pm at FIREFLY Restaurant and Game Room. Like usual we'll have a night of FREE astronomy talks, trivia, and prizes targeted at a general audience all organized by professional astronomers at UVA and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. We'll have talks on how radio astronomers create images and how we study atmospheres around planets outside our Solar System! Stay tuned into this page for details on speakers and the full schedule.
FIREFLY will be opening at 5pm and serving a full food and drink menu during the event, so come hungry!
After the event, we will have telescopes set up to observe objects in the night sky (weather permitting of course)! We hope to see you there!
