Advance registration and a State Park Pass is required.Come join us for an adventurous night hike!
We will be exploring the Cheyenne Mountain State Park trails, where we will use our five senses to help us navigate at night. We will learn fun facts about how our eyes adjust to darkness, how nocturnal animals survive, night sky sights and observe the celestial sights in the sky above.
The hikes conclude around 10:00 PM in the Lime Kiln Trailhead Parking Lot for 30 minutes of viewing celestial sights through telescopes.
Audience: 8 years old and up
Location: Meet at the Limekiln Parking Lot, near the trailhead/restrooms
