Come join us for an adventurous night hike! This month the moon will be in its 1st Quarter (Half Full).We will be exploring Cheyenne Mountain State Park's trails using our five senses to help us navigate. We will learn fun facts about how our eyes adjust to darkness, how nocturnal animals survive and the sights we see in the night sky while observing the Moon rise in the evening skies!
Please plan to meet your guide at the Limekiln Trailhead near the restroom building. Recommended for attendees ages 8 and up.
The 3 mile hike will begin at 6:30PM and the 1 mile hike will begin at 7:30PM. Both hikes will conclude around 9:00PM to allow time for viewing celestial sights through telescopes in the parking area.

Although this program is free, a valid park pass is required on every vehicle.
