Please join the Mt. Diablo Astronomical Society for our June 23 general meeting featuring Dr. Ryan Farber, Adjunct Professor of Physics at Purdue University, who will discuss the perplexing puzzles revealed by the James Webb Space Telescope. Dr. Farber will explain the telescope’s discovery of more massive galaxies and supermassive black holes than initially expected from cosmological models, among other discoveries. The meeting starts at 7:15 p.m. with a short “What’s Up?” by MDAS member John Corlett, who will discuss Free Electron Lasers, and why we should care about them. Our meetings are held in the Lindsay Wildlife Experience Community Room, 1931 First Avenue, Walnut Creek, CA 94597
