A brief introduction to telescope and binocular mounts for sky observation aimed at those new to the hobby maybe looking to buy their first telescope or to upgrade from a beginner's telescope. This is based largely upon my own experiences with my telescopes and mounts and through activities I have had with the NAA. A few more exotic mounts will be briefly addressed.
