Get ready for lift off at Astronomy Days on January 24 & 25, 2026 (10am–5pm both days).
Join us for a celestial adventure that explores the wonders of the universe through technology, telescopes, engaging talks by scientists and plenty of hands-on activities. This year’s theme is Passport to the Moon! Your cosmic itinerary is packed with two days of lunar-focused programming.
Loud Noise Warning
During the entirety of the event, on both Saturday and Sunday, Blast-Off Rockets will be fired off in the alley behind the Museum’s Nature Research Center (NRC). The rockets make a loud popping noise caused by the instant release of pressurized air. If you are sensitive to loud or unexpected noises, please consider entering the Museum through the Nature Exploration Center (NEC) at 11 West Jones St.
