Join Jennifer Swanson, award-winning author of children's book Astronaut or Aquanaut, for a debate with interactive questions and help us compare and contrast the benefits of each extreme environment. This exciting event will have you soaring into space or diving deep into the ocean. Then stick around to do some activities with physics! Kids will learn about the forces of drag and gravity and how they affect planes on earth and objects underwater. Autographed books available for purchase. ⁣

10:30 am - Book signing inside of museum gift shop⁣

This event requires pre-registration with paid admission. There is no additional cost for the event. To register, please email: [email protected]⁣

Guests may choose to register for either the 9:00 am or 11:00 am program. Events will be capped at 15 participants. Masks are still required indoors and vaccine/testing mandates are still in place.⁣
