Assisted Living Caregiver Course Details:
? Course Structure: Minimum 62 hours of course attendance as mandated by the state board
? Curriculum: Legal and ethical issues, communication, service plans, infection control, nutrition, safety, emergency procedures, home maintenance, caregiver skills, mental health, cognitively impaired resident care, restorative services, and medication management
?? Instruction: Hands-on practice, class discussion, videos, and eLearning materials
Caregiver Course Requirements:
? Must be at least 18 years old
✍️ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
✔️ Complete 20 eLearning hours and 42 classroom hours (62 hours total)
? Pass the Arizona State Final Exam through D&S Diversified Technology
? Location: Lifework Mesa Campus, 1833 W Main St STE 131, Mesa, AZ 85201
? Duration: 1 Week
