Cues, Props, and Touch to Support Healthy Asana

Help your students unlock their full potential in asana and gain a more intimate understanding of the inner workings of each yogic shape. This workshop is designed for hatha and vinyasa teachers who want to encourage students to more fully embody their practice by supplementing verbal cues with props and hands on assists. The purpose is always to empower our students, and so we will look at applications for props and assists to make foundational shapes accessible, as well as options to refine technique and insight regarding challenging asanas. This workshop will heavily consist of giving and receiving physical adjustments so please expect movement and touch throughout the weekend
