Location: My Pets Vets, Moss Industrial Estate, Lowton, Leigh, WN7 3PTCost£ 70 or £120 for both patient assessment days
The day will cover a full neurological examination of the small animal patient
Including:
Neurological - cranial nerves, spinal nerves, reflexes, mobility, various proprioceptive tests
Soft tissue - palpation techniques, deep palpation of specific muscles, testing of specific muscles, identifying textures within the tissues
The day is aimed at therapists that would like to upskill or refresh their small animal assessment techniques - it is a very practical day and therapists are welcome to bring dogs with them (they must be sociable and tolerate handling) providing they are pre arranged with Lisa
