Assessment of Sexual Knowledge training on content and delivery as part of a comprehensive functional behaviour assessment
About this Event

The Assessment of Sexual Knowledge (ASK) has been developed to assist practitioners to reliably and validly establish the underlying attitudes and sexual knowledge of people with intellectual disability over the age of 16 years. Facilitated by leading specialist behavioursupport practitioner and psychologist Kylie Bowden, the information obtained by using the ASK-Adolescent version can provide a basis for:• Informing functional hypothesis for comprehensive functional behaviour assessments• Developing behaviour support plan strategies involving educational and skill-building programs regarding human relations educationAfter the session, participants will be asked to complete a brief summary of interpretation of an example assessment. This interpretationwill be submitted to Kylie, who will then provide feedback and a certificate of completion for the training.
