This practical one-day workshop is designed for psychologists who wish to develop confidence in conducting ADHD assessments.
Drawing on current research, clinical guidelines, and over two decades of experience working in the ADHD field, this workshop provides a structured framework that participants can immediately apply in clinical practice.

- DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria and common pitfalls
- Conducting effective ADHD clinical interviews
- Choosing assessment measures including computer performance tests (CPTs)
- Integrating self-report, observer-report, and behavioural data
- Differential diagnosis and common comorbidities
- Recognising how ADHD commonly presents in women and girls
- Diagnostic formulation and report writing
- Communicating findings and recommendations to clients

Presenter
Kate D'Anvers, Registered Psychologist
Kate has worked with ADHD across clinical, assessment, and educational settings for more than 25 years. She previously founded and directed one of New Zealand's largest Autism and ADHD assessment clinics and now specialises in adult ADHD assessment and ADHD-informed therapy for individuals and couples.
