Assaulted Women's Helpline 40th Anniversary Celebration

Please join the Assaulted Women’s Helpline for an inspiring and powerful afternoon as we commemorate 40 years of unwavering support, advocacy, and action. This milestone event is both a celebration of impact and tribute to the resilience of survivors and the dedication of our community. Highlights of the afternoon include a moving oral history and photographic exhibit of testimonials from volunteers and staff - past and present; and presentations by Indigenous group Sprit Wind and renowned local poet, Casandra Myers. Join us for a delicious lunch buffet and meaningful community connections, as we honour the lives of those touched by violence and the community that continues to respond with compassion and strength.
