I will be hosting an Assassin class Charity Event evening on 11th September, 5.30 for a very strong lady, Rebecca Anne. Here’s her story and where the money raised at my event next week will be going towards:
The fundraising money received will go towards private oncology treatments such as chemotherapy, consultations, scans, blood tests and medications. The reason i am going privately is because my NHS oncologist doesn’t believe I am strong enough for full chemotherapy but the private oncologist says I am.
So far I’ve only received 4 rounds of half dose chemo and it’s not enough.
Private chemotherapy is so very expensive but without it I will not be able to get the cancer under control.
The plan moving forward is to work with the private team until it’s time to seek help from a doctor in Germany. He’s called Dr Vogl and he is very experienced in curing people with stage 4 cancers.
Ofcourse this will cost a lot of money so I am trying to raise as much as possible so I have the best chance.
Once the cancer is under control and I am stable for 3 years Addenbrooks hospital in Cambridge will consider the bowel transplant that I was denied after my diagnosis. This operation is everything because it has the full potential of being my cure so I can live.
I am so grateful for everyone’s amazing donations and support. There are some truly remarkable people in this world and what cancer has shown me is people care and they want to help and that’s mor than I could ever ask for.
