Asphalt Jungle Shorts XXIII - The Final Curtain
Flush Ink Productions has been pushing the boundaries of traditional theatre since 2006 with its signature event, Asphalt Jungle Shorts - at the intersection of Theatre & Reality in downtown Kitchener. We've had a good run. Twenty years. Twenty-Two unique events.
Whether set in an alley, on a fire escape, parking garage or twenty feet below the sidewalk, the city itself becomes the stage, and the lines between theatre and reality are beautifully blurred.
The final shows are set for September 10 - 12th and 24 - 26th.
Note - I will fill in the final week's dates when Facebook thinks the timing is right - thinking one month prior to event.
Show times are 7:30
We cannot get a restaurant or downtown bar to partner with us, so we are suggesting you come early, bring a coffee, snacks or take-out, and schmooze with the rest of the audience.
Tickets are $25
Given the mind-numbing chore of having a ticket agency handle tickets, you can either

Reserve tickets by emailing [email protected] letting us know what night and how many tickets you require. You can pay at the door (cash only please).
If you've been involved in AJS in the past as an actor, director or playwright, check your email or a FB message for the Alumni Saturday on the 26th. A special price and and nice farewell to the streets of downtown Kitchener.
In the past, we've included plays by playwrights from USA, England, Ireland, Australia, Israel and Venezuela as well Canadians playwrights, both national and local.

* Wear your walking shoes.
* Leave the kids at home.
* If, tut tut, it looks like rain - bring an umbrella.
* Dress for the weather.
