The Enlisted Kidney Foundation is honored to announce that we have been selected as a 2026 Cele's Champion by the American Society of Nephrology (ASN).
Named in honor of Cele Fogarty, a kidney patient, mentor, and advocate, this recognition celebrates individuals and organizations that embody her commitment to mentorship, advocacy, and ensuring the patient voice remains at the forefront of kidney care.
This year, only 11 individuals and organizations worldwide were selected.
We are humbled to receive this recognition because it reflects the heart of our mission: serving veterans, patients, caregivers, and families through mentorship, advocacy, education, and community.
In October 2026, EKF will travel to Denver, Colorado, to attend ASN Kidney Week, the world's premier kidney health conference, where this recognition will be celebrated.
As a grassroots, veteran-led nonprofit, we are asking our community to help us get there.
By supporting this campaign, you are helping ensure that the voices of kidney warriors, veterans, caregivers, and patients continue to be represented on one of the largest stages in kidney healthcare.
