ASN EASTER Themed Multi Sensory Experience -(Small Group - Early Years)

Join us for some Fancy, Sency, Dancy - for Easter

This Small group session (upto 8 Children) arranged on behalf of Aberdeen City Council, will take place at Ferryhill Community Centre. Following the activity, there will be informal opportunities for peer support and social time. The venue has a small café and playpark.

- All children & Siblings require a ticket to ensure we have enough sensory trays and materials for each child.

This session is aimed at the early years development stage however all children between age 2-9 years old are welcome to join us.

Set Up:

• Disco Lights ✨
• Music 🎶

Format: Children are welcome to participate at their own pace, or simply observe and be curious at the activity stations!

Example activities

1. Action Song and Dance
   Get moving with a lively children’s action song! Whether it's "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and following actions to Easter themed tunes and pretend play, this is a fun way to kick off our session!
2. Bubble Swatting
   Dive into the bubbly fun! Children will enjoy swatting bubbles as they float around, promoting movement and laughter.
3. Cheer Leader Pom Poms / Ribbon Twirling or Parachute Fun
   Let’s get creative with cheerleader pom poms, twirling ribbons, or playing with the parachute for some group excitement! 🎉
4. Themed Sensory Trays and Music
   Explore our Easter themed sensory trays while enjoying low-level party or themed music, encouraging hands-on discovery and imaginative play. 🎨
5. Free Play
   Wind down with some free playtime, allowing children to explore and interact freely in a fun environment.

This smaller group event will be held in the carpeted room where we usually have music therapy - There will be No bouncy castle at this event
