About this Event
✅ Early Intervention is a community support group run by volunteers aimed at children with disabilities and ASN between the ages of 3 and 9.
* Aberdeen City Council has generously offered to pay for all sessions for children who reside in Aberdeen City. Aberdeenshire council have informed us that they have their own program of events for the children in Aberdeenshire via Live Life Aberdeenshire.
We are limited in numbers for this event (please select additional tickets if you wish siblings to join - only children require tickets)
Early Intervention is a local group that provides support for children who experience challenges with social interaction and/or need additional support regulating their emotions.
Come Join us at the Ferryhill Community Centre for art therapy with a Qualified art therapist, this event is for Primary 1-3.
The qualified art therapist has almost two decades of experience working in the fields of children, young people and their families, and mental health. She has worked as an art therapist in a variety of roles and settings, for a large part of this time, including working with children and young people in voluntary and educational settings. She has worked as a counsellor and art therapist in the education sector for over five years. During this time she has worked with both primary and secondary-aged children / young people.
She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Art Therapist. She is also a full member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).
