This Ask the Experts session will address critical matters you should be aware of as you expand to hire employees, move into multiple locations, and more. Our panel of experts will guide you through key topics like differentiating between contractors and employees, wage and hour tips to avoid costly claims, and understanding vital tax matters involving L&I, ESD, and DoR. This session will equip you with the insights needed to make informed decisions as you expand and optimize your business.

Ask the Experts is a series of monthly workshops aimed at educating people on crucial business topics. Thanks to the generosity of STCU, the Ask the Experts program is offered free of charge to the entire Tri-Cities business community.
Each session features two to three local professionals who have demonstrated expertise in the featured monthly topic and are willing to share what they have learned, as well as answer questions from participants.
Ask the Experts is offered in hybrid format on the third Tuesday of every month from 3 - 4:30 p.m. - in-person at the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center building (with light refreshments), as well as live on Zoom. Eventually the session can be viewed on demand on YouTube.
