Calling all women interested in Asian movies directed by Asian women.
We’d love to see you at our Asian Women Cinema event, where we highlight asian women filmmakers and give the opportunity to talk about how sex, race and class are portrayed in film and media!
We are happy to announce we will be screening the documentary 7 Beats Per Minute directed by Yuqi Kang.
Come dive in the deep sea with Jessea, the world-record freediver and follow her inspiring journey where she is looking at who she truly is, and how her relationship as a subject with the director takes a deep dive as well.

There will be an discussion after the screening with the director Yuqi Kang
The film is in English, Mandarin with English subtitles.
