Asian American Changemaker Awards II

Last year we had the honor of partnering with the AREAA Gala to present our awards. It was very much a black-tie affair. This year will be a more laid-back event and we are lucky to have the opportunity to have the event at the Jelly Cup Collective, a space operated by other Asian Americans.

There have been so many wonderful nominations and voting is about to commence. These Awards are a way for us to celebrate our own community and gather.

This year we will have five recipients of awards and each will receive $200 to spend towards their projects or themselves. The awards are being created by five local Asian American artists to match the theme of each category.

Our event has a loose itinerary that allows time to mingle, present the awards, and to build community afterward. Light refreshments will be provided and what we can do is dependent on the number of tickets that are sold.

The cost of tickets will be split evenly with half going to support the Jelly Cup Collective and the other to provide for the event itself. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
