Ashtyn Barbaree is an internationally touring gritty americana singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA. She has a smokey, yet silky ethereal voice often accompanied with harmonies, guitar, tenor 8-string ukulele, bass and baritone guitar.Her debut self-titled EP, released April 2018, was recorded in Nashville, TN at The Butcher Shoppe Studio and has received national and international music reviews.
In December 2018, Ashtyn was the first NWA artist exported to Europe through a grant from the Walton Family Foundation, the idea being to help bring recognition and awareness to the music scene in this area. Ashtyn has performed across the United States, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, The Netherlands and Germany.
2019 was a busy year including performances at Folk Alliance International (Montreal, Canada), an official showcase at CD Baby's DIY Festival (Austin, Texas), an artist residency in NYC (Bethany Arts) and a month of touring Europe. She is currently writing and recording her 1st full length album to be released 2021.
